Privacy Policy

Declutter – Photo Cleaner ("the App", "we", "us") is developed by Abhinav Mathur. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses, how it is used, and your rights.

1. Information We Access

The App requests access to your device's Photo Library (via Apple's Photos framework) solely to display, sort, and delete photos and videos at your explicit direction. We never upload, transmit, or share any photos, videos, or metadata.

2. Data We Store on Your Device

The App stores the following data in UserDefaults on your device only:

• spaceSaved – cumulative bytes freed (integer)
• itemsDeleted – cumulative number of items deleted (integer)
• dismissedIDs – list of asset identifiers you marked as "Looks Fine" so they are hidden from future scans

This data never leaves your device and is not shared with anyone. You can clear it by deleting the App.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

• No account or login is required
• No analytics or crash reporting SDKs are used
• No advertising identifiers are collected
• No network requests are made — the App works entirely offline
• No photos, videos, or thumbnails are uploaded anywhere

4. Third-Party SDKs

The App does not include any third-party SDKs. It uses only Apple's first-party frameworks: SwiftUI, Photos, Vision, Foundation, and UIKit.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. It contains no social features, no user accounts, and no content that would be unsuitable for children.

6. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
